The residents of ADM DID
manage in the end to prevent the erection of a huge communications
tower right in the heart of Areias dos Moinhos. Unfortunately our
victory came at the cost of a substantial legal bill (12,000 Euros) so
we are approaching all residents of ADM and others who feel they can
help to seek their help and to ask for contributions. The only thing
worse than having to pay such a bill would have been losing the fight –
and still having to pay the lawyers! The law firm working for us played
a central role in our victory. They knew what they were doing, were very
thorough and – above all – they were very fast off the mark.
