Nicks last diary.
Summer is approaching its end and I am moving onto another full time job for the
winter. As a result I wonīt have as much time for Carvoeiro.com but will still definitely
make a contribution. What Steen and I both wish for is more contributors like us. I know
that the message board is a form of contribution but we would welcome and stories or news
about Carvoeiro.
I have really enjoyed writing my diaries, selling advertising and designing pages for
Carvoeiro.com. We have redesigned the whole web site, hosted a cocktail party for all the
local tourist complexes, and put up a Kids section, Food and Drink Section, redesigned the
community (replacing the old residents corner) and put up a chat board for your use. We
have started a great newsletter system, even if we HAD to pay Microsoft for it : ) and we
fixed the web cam time and time again. Actually I had nothing to do with that. Steen and a
colleague tinkered away for days and got it right.
There are still many many projects that we have lined up for your consumption, so donīt
go away. I am not leaving, just refocussing for a while. I would still love to receive
your notes, comments and general banter - its always fun to have friends on the web. Hey
HEINI! If you want to continue with that beer comparison - lets do it!!
Thank you for all your support - at last count there were 147 people subscribed to my
newsletter. Thanks for being one of them.
