Welcome to C.C. de Ténis which despite the name is
not only a tennis center but a multi-sport complex offering many activities from beginners
level to advanced for young and old. The center is located in Sesmarias, a small village 4
km. from Lagoa and 3 km. from Carvoeiro over looking the sea and surrounded by pleasant
countryside. The complex is opened all year round and we are glad to meet your special
requirements. |
| Tennis |
The complex has 12 courts and a double sided practice wall. 9 of
these courts are an all-weather surface (Flexi-court), 2 Canada Tenn Clay Courts (American
Clay) and one artificial grass court. The courts can be rented by the hour. Of course you
are welcome to participate in our weekly activities. The mild climate in the Algarve is
ideal for pre-season tennis. Groups are welcome and necessary accommodation can be
arranged. If a tennis court opponent of any standard is required, one can be provided. For
those of you who need new equipment or just advice or to check your racket tension, a well
stocked Pro-shop is located next to the bar. |
| Tennis School |
The tennis school has 7 well qualified coaches, and they all offer
tuition in English, Portuguese, German, French and Dutch. Lessons can be taken in groups
or individually. The Tennis school emphasis is on the children's tennis education. During
the school holidays we offer daily clinics and tournaments for the different age groups
and levels. |
| Aerobics |
The complex has a professional aerobic room which is used for a
wide variety of activities like jazz dance, yoga, callanetics, aerobics, step, Power
Walking, fit club and jazz dance for children etc. |
| Fitness Center |
A well equipped gymnasium is on hand for all those who just want to
work out, or for those who are more serious body builders. Our qualified fitness
instructor will design your personal training and, if required, a special diet for you.
The up-to-date Cardio equipment offers you the possibility of an individual training. An
electronic card carries your personal data and make sure that you burn the highest rate of
fat possible during the exercise. You can not exercise better, safer and more effectively. |
| Restaurant / Bar |
The Bistro Top Spin restaurant / Bar, right in the middle of the
center, has a lovely outdoor terrace surrounded by colorful Bougainvillea climbers and
large palm trees. The excellent kitchen offers breakfast, lunch and dinner for very
reasonable prices. |
| Diving School |
Diving and snorkeling course with qualified instructor. Children
from 8 years old can participate in a course and obtain a certificate. Participants older
than 12 years of age can qualify as "Open-Water-Divers" and gain a worldwide
accepted license (P.A.D.I.). The courses includes Theory, pool and open water diving.

| Conference Room |
In this perfect environment conferences, meetings, concerts,
weddings, birthday parties and other special occasions can be arranged for up to 100
people. Depending on your requirements the restaurant can cater for snacks or 5-course
dinners. More details on request. |
| Physiotherapy |
For all those pulled muscles, aching backs that you may have as a
result of all this exercise the resident physiotherapist is available to alleviate pain.
Please make your appointment at the reception. |
| Body Massage |
Assist to the curative effect of the lovely Algarve-Climate, Ute
Gminder is pleased to offer: Part and fullbody massages and Manual-Lymphatic drainage. For
further information's contact the gym reception. |
| Sauna |
Also located in the gymnasium are two saunas, one for men and one
for ladies. |
| Hairdresser |
Next to the restaurant you'll find the hairdressing studio where
you can get anything from a quick trim to a permanent from an experienced hairdresser. |
| Cyber Café |
Have a coffee and travel around the world. For more details contact
the tennis reception or Roberto. |
| Billiard |
A full sized carambolage table and a pool table are available for
you to try out your skills. For more details contact the main reception in the bar. |
| Table Tennis |
For those who prefer smaller and lighter balls there is a table
tennis club in the conference room at weekends. For more details contact the main
reception in the bar. Hourly rent also possible. |
| Swimming Pool |
As any bird will tell you the pool is shaped like a tennis racket!
The handle being the paddling pool for younger visitors and the racket head a large
swimming pool with diving board for the more active swimmers. Anyone who uses any of the
facilities in the center may use the pool free of charge. |
| Trampoline |
Come and jump! Just beside the clay courts two in-ground competion
sized trampolines are providing ultimate fun - of course, not only for children. |
| Mini Golf |
Children Fun course. Please require for clubs at the tennis
reception. |
