I am coming back to Carvoeiro in september for 2 weeks, last time we were there two years ago there was a great indian restaraunt on the hill on the main road can anybody tell me if it is still around.I am also looking forward to returning to the Officina and Barra Barras for another session of drinking the drink they call The Power. Mungos do you still have SKY so that I can keep up with the Cardiff City football scores?

Can anybody tell me if you need a car in carvoeiro to get around or to get to the nice beaches. Is there a chance to take a bus to other nearby beaches. And is there a possibility to take public transportation from faro airport to carvoeiro. I want to stay in monte paraiso, is this far or ok? thanks, thorsten.dippel@eudoramail.com

The Casa do Păo on the road going out of Carvoeiro is very good for pizzas, my kids say they are the best! They also do a very good dish of the day, worth a try

SMILERS!!!! Push your tables and chairs over towards Colombos, then maybe we won't have to walk in the road, it's really pissing me off having to step into the road to get round the corner when there is loads of pavement! Maybe a trip to the Junta or Camera is called for.

Family of four from London (UK) coming to Carveiro 29th July for two weeks Renting property with satelite TV. At home have cable so we don't have card. Anyone know if you can get one for two weeks particularly for Sky Sports.

Some other questions Are there any good seafood restaurant with see views locally? Similarly good pizza places

Well 7 Paddies .....we're nine (9) from Cork arriving on the 12th of Sept ....4 couples + 1 goosa(boy)...i hope ye're not 7 lads or his chances are gone !!!!!!

One of the guys is arriving on the 15th and having been to Carvoeiro many times went looking for a few maps and web sites for the Algarve. What a surprise to find your site and the infomation contained within it.It's a masterpiece of progamming and you should seriously consider giving up flogging ice creams and design more sites. Having been to Carvoeiro for the past ten years....enough said. By the way his name is Chris Underwood.

We (me, husband,daughter and daughter's friend) have just come back from a weeks holiday in Carvoeiro. As everyone said, we fell in love with the place and wish we were still there. This was my third trip to the Algarve since October and was definitely one of the best.We stayed at Monte Carvoeiro which was a superb place to stay. We booked late teletext and it was one of the best deals we've ever had as regards price/accomodation/resort/facilities etc. I can thoroughly recommend staying there. There was one disappointment though WEBMASTER WHERE WERE YOU ?!! After getting so much info from this site before I went I wanted to meet you and be able to email back home etc. but it wasn't possible. Have you thought of having an internet cafe? Thankyou for the site and I hope it's not long before we come back. JMT&J

I feel SO old!!! I cn remember a time when everyone from Praia Da Rocha, Portimăo and Albufeira used to come here to go to the Bote!! How times change, I can also remember when we had FIVE nightclubs here, Skubidu, Bote, Shiloh, Castra Diva and last but not least Alibi!! Byeeee

Kate, I have had better foam parties in my bathtub! BOTE is the crappiest disco on the face of this planet (unfortunatley it is the only one in Carvoeiro). So for those of you who are mobile, car, scooter etc. go to Praia da Rocha for some decent foam parties...

Nightlife (Bars, clubs, restaurants) is good in Carvoeiro in September but if you want really good nightlife (good discos) you will need a car to go to discos like KADOC (Vilamoura ca. 40 kms) or KATEDRAL (Pr. da Rocha ca 15 kms) Enjoy your stay. R.K.

Re.: Walking in the middle of the road. Aside from the fact that some people have a chronical tendency to walk in the middle of the road, others are forced to because of badly parked cars (i.e. next to the bus stop in front of the taxi booth). Please, when you come to Carvoeiro by car try to avoid parking on the side walk. They are small enogh as it is....

Please excuse all the technical difficulties since last Thursday (July 1st), the problems was caused by a server shift at my Web hosting service. I haven't been able to access the Web site myself nor use the guest book or message board. Hopefully the problems are now fixed.
