In the defence of the comput@s bar, I am british and I can barely spell correctly. I have also been to the Comput@s bar and I have to say it was one of the most friendly bars I've ever been to. It is nicely furnished and the drinks are reasonably priced, so is the internet access considering Carvoeiro isn't exactly the epicentre for all mod coms. I think this dispute between the 'Computas Bar' and the person who put the message replicating is a little bit stupid. Mr. Bartender, tell me who would want to make publicity of your bar for free? If I had a good time watching the game, I wouldn't shout out where I was seeing it, I would only say I had a good time. And, if I were English (Dave and Donna are definitly English names...) HI THERE, YOU FRUITCAKES!

MR. BLOBBY is back and do I have a treat for all you gourmets and wannabe-chefs.... Let me share with you my most succesfull recipe: The very famous BLOBBY FRUITCAKE!

Ingeredients: 1 cup water, 4 large eggs, 1 tspn baking soda, 1 cup brown sugar, 1 cup nuts, 1 cup sugar, 2 cups dried fruit, 1 teaspoon salt, 1 lemon (juice), 1 gallon whisky.

Method: Sample the whisky to check the quality. Take a large bowl. Check the whisky again to be sure it is of outstanding quality. Pout one level cup and drink. Repeat. Turn on the electric lixer thinghy. Beat 1 cup butter in the large, fluffy bowl. Add 1 teaspoon sugar and beat again. Make sure the whisky is still okay. Cry another tup. Turn off mixer.

Break two legs and add to the bow and chuck in a cup of dried fruit. Mix on the turner. If the dried fruit gets stuck in the eaterers, pry it loose with the drewscriver. Sample the whisky a check for tonsisticity. Next saft 2 cups of silt, or something. Who cares? Check the whisky. Now sift the lemon juice and strain your nuts. Add one table. Spoon. Of sugar or something. Whatever you can find. Turn the cake tin to 350 degrees. Don't forget to beat off the turner. Thow the bow out of the window. Check the whisky again. Go to bed.

We have visited Carvoeiro afew times & are after puchasing a property. Can anyone please give us the name & telephone number of the real-estate on the hill up from the main street just pass the pub on the corner & before Happy's. We are trying to contact 'Brian' a wonderful Irish man who works there before we leave. Grateful for any help

The selections represent their country. if they win im the best, if they loose i feel miserable... ho ye! that's stupid... couse i don´t play, and i´ve no interference in the game. The players don't even know about our existence, and we don't know nothig about them.

A football game can be amazing and it can be completly stupid... it's too serious for just a game.

in the future different team supporters will watch the same game in the same sits... they celebrate the goals of every teams, and thei'll score goals in their own goal. there will be no faults and all players will be friends.

the reffere will score goals also, and he will be aplaused!

I'm surprised that this hasn't come up on the notice board so far - where is going to be the best place to watch England vs. Portugal on the 12th June?

Also, and on a completely different subject, where can I get a birthday cake in Carvoeiro? It's my wife's birthday while we are on holiday and I had beter make some sort of effort!

We're looking forward to getting back to Carvoeiro on the 10th. I'm glad to see that the weather is now starting to look good.

The Algarve coast is so clean and nice,
I shall be there in but a trice.
All my troubles they will diffuse,
