Re: Oil tankers I put the message on the board, I tried to find something about the petition on the SAPO, but as usual it was crap, and didn't come up with anything, don't know why I bothered!!! RE.Colina Village:well established development.Nice, tidy and quiet as it is outside Carvoeiro. As for the weather, it normally is very pleasant, although it could turn out to be very hot or cloudy and wet.Anyway you can look in the Menu -- at WEATHER/FORECAST where it shows the average conditions for whole year. Please go up to the primary school and sign the petition "Lagrima Negra", it's to stop the petrol tankers coming SO close to the coast, they come as close as 2km´s. Please sign as it would be dreadful if there was an accident at sea. All of you seem to like or love Carvoeiro so do something to stop an ecological disaster happening. There is also a demonstration on the 17th of May on the beach, all the children from school will be there so go on, do something to help. Thanks

Nat.I'm affraid that if you are looking for donkey carts, you are bumping into the wrong tree.Actually you can find one here, posing for the turists.Apart from that here you can find every other mechanical means of transport. As for attractions, well there are lovely beaches with golden sand, blue water,some fishing boats and fishermen, amazing cost line and rock formations. Some interesting houses with tipical algarvean chimneys in different blues and ochre paints,etc. This isn't much but perhaps it will give an idea.Good luck.

Dear Webmaster. It's no good - you're going to have to set up an Internet Cafe ! I came to Carvoeiro last year, fell in love with it and will return at least once this year. Since I found this site about 10 months ago it's one of the most FAQs. You could make a mint. So many people want this technology as they have it at home. Surely someone you know could start one! Also I'd love to see your accomodation site extended with more properties - but tell the owners we need pictures! We softies find the beds in Portugal too hard for a restful sleep and would like to know if foam mattress toppers are available. This is a 3-5 cm. thick slab of foam that is put on top of the mattress under the sheet. (They're awfully bulky to haul with us on the plane.) RE-TIMESHARE. Art by the time you pay for the cost of the two weeks ownership,maintenance fees around £400 and rising each year (with new fidges,funiture and decorating etc every two to three years,dont know were the second hand (nearly new) stuff goes to?.),subsidise the chairman in a job in the sun and pay for RCI membership(when you want to exchange they have no vacancies)its very costly holiday.Stick to your usual way of holidaying its a lot cheaper and gives you more chioce.This is my opinion and I have been a Monte Carvoeiro owner since the beginning.
