I visit the web-site most days to remind me of the happy times I have spent in Carvoeiro. I have been in the village at least once every year since 1985 when I first visited. The web-site is a great idea and I would like to wish all the people in Carvoeiro that are involved in tourism a very happy Christmas and a prosperous new year. I never been in Portugal but I have met the best and most smart guy from Algarve. HIS name is TONY MC BREAK! We will get married 31 December + but in Sweden (he is living there for a while)! We will visit PORTUGAL this summer! I hope i will fall in love in this GREAT country like I falled in LOVE to my darling PORTUGESS SWEDESH MAN.

I am coming to Carveiro for Xmas week. I have never ever been to Portugal before. I know nothing about the resort apart from a travel brochure. I think the web cam is a brilliant idea and although the pictures are not top quality, i love to watch the square and it reminds of all the brilliant times i had in carvoeiro during the summer. All i can say is this site is brilliant and a great idea and i can't wait to return to portugal in the Easter. p.s LSD bar, Joker's bar and the Bote rule!!!!

im writting only for one reason, wich is the crixms time . i can't accept that a preety village as Carvoeiro, dont have more than a kind of Crxms Tree on the square to feel that we are celebrating such an important date/time .I feel realy that Carvoeiro gives so much to Lagoa All the year that we deserve more than a kind of CRISTHMAS TREE..........................................................................................Someone that loves Carvoeiro and CRISTHMAS TIME:XXXX XXXXX

We spent a lot of time deciding where to go for our holiday this year. On consulting my stepson my husband decided if we didn't book a holiday soon we would not get away at all.As he works for a well known travel agent he set about the search for sun,sea,sand and a much needed break from this hell hole. We decided to head off for Portugal. I have to admit that I am very sceptical about leaving home as I worry about a lot of things.Especially cleanliness, this was one area that I was concerned about. Visiting somewhere that to me may as well be Mars. I have to hold my hand up and say that I needn't have worried at all. Our holiday was beyond expectations. We set off for Carvoeiro, it was breathtaking. We stayed at Monte Duarado Apartments, we couldn't have wished for more. It was so clean and more than adaquately equipped we had every home comfort imaginable. We booked an appartment for 3 people and could easily have catered for six. So we deffinately got value for money.The pools were cleaned between 7.30 - 8.00 am you could have set your watch by the pool man. Beaches that we visited were spectacular,some not very easy to access but well worth the trek to get there. Local people were great and helpful in every respect. We visited a local supermarket and did not have the correct change, without hesitation the till operator did not hesitate and agreed to let us pay the next day when we had some sensible change.The people,scenery,beaches and accommodation cannot be faulted and if we ever leave this green and pleasant land it will be for the beauty and natural appeal of this country.
