Had a great holiday staying with "Farmer Jones" at a private
guesthouse near Messines about 1/2hr from the beach. Excellent value for money. I see he

Im planning a trip to Carvoeiro on the fist week of November. This will be my
first time in Portugal, so im really looking forward to my visit.
I would appreciate any advice that anyone could give me, in the hope that it
might make my holiday a more pleasant experience. Also.....with regards to the weather
that i may expect around that time of year. I would appreciate your comments.

arriving in Carvoeiron this saturday 23rd oct. second visit. found the webb site
very in formative but would like more tips for restaurants, and events around the area. i
adore the markets my favourite being saturday morning in loule bit of a drive but well
worth the visit , any one found any better ones susan from nr skipton westyorkshire

Warning: Don't eat at Ricardo's Pizza place in Albufeira (near the
tunnel/beach), because it's to expensive and to disgusting. We paid 4650 escudos for one
tiney little plate of Spagetti Bolognese and 1 Pizza Margarita and a half bottle of red
wine (headache-brand). For the same amount of money you can have great meals at the Atrium
or O Tunel.

We had a great time in Carvoeiro, while staying in Albufeira. Next year we'd
like to stay in a casa like 'Casa Brigitte' on the mountain-side near the beach. Does
anybody know other 'casa's'? and adresses or telephone numbers. Koch family from The

my wife and I have recently returned from Monte Carvoeiro where we stay twice a
year, in March/April and Sept/Oct. Again we enjoyed good weather, good golf and most of
all the same very good atmosphere of all the local people. We will never tire of the

This has been our second visit and we stayed in Colina Branca courtesy of Sandra
and Roy Quigley. Both my wife, Cherie and I love Carvoeiro and will book for next year.
The people are friendly, the climate agreeable and the food superb. We recommend the
Algarve.

Olà, acho este site da internet muito bem feito, pena é que tenha tão pouco
em portugês... por um lado compreendo que é para ser lido no mundo inteiro, mas como
deve ser um dos melhores sobre portugal, não lhe fazia mal nenhum de ter algumas frases
na lingua de Camões... Um algarvio na Suiça... BRAVO

Eure Internet-Seite ist einfach Spitze! Wir waren vom 18. September bis 2.
Oktober 1999 zum ersten mal in Carvoeiro. In der Naehe von Palm Gardens bewohnten wir die
Villa Casa Ociosidade. Zur Vorbereitung nutzten wir die Informationen zu den Straenden und
die Karten von Carvoeiro. Zu den Restaurants koennten noch mehr Informationen stehen. Zum
Beispiel ist das "Wolf's Restaurante im PALM GARDEN" unter den deutschen
Restaurants nicht aufgefuehrt. Aber man sollte es nicht nur im Internet besuchen, sondern
selbst hingehen und sich dort von zuvorkommendem Service und vorzueglicher Kueche
verwoehnen lassen. Der Ort Carvoeiro ist sehr gepflegt. Vielleicht koennte die kommunale
Verwaltung durch etwas mehr Parkmoeglichkeiten besonders abends die Gehwege fuer die
Besucher von Restaurants auf der Estrada do Farol von Autos frei machen. Auf ein

There are LOADS of supermarkets around Carvoeiro,but don't eat in, eat out. Give
your other half a proper holiday, away from the washing up and cooking, be nice!!!

We've just come back from Carvoeiro after staying at a fantastic private villa.
It is the third time we have visited and it gets better every time. The updated town
square picture is an excellent idea. Even back in wet old England we can still get a
reminder of the place.

Thanks for the information on your Web Site, we have found the information
really useful to plan our holiday. We will be holidaying in Carvoeiro in October. We are
self catering, can you let us know where there are any Supermarkets in and around the
area? Perhaps you can add a list of these to your site later?
