Been on holiday to Carvoeiro, stayed at the some nice hotel but the food was well dodgy. Definitely would come back again - entainment was great especially the blonde bird - Ilze. She had a van with her website address on the side of her van - does anybody know what it is - so I can show my mates this stunner!!

HI WE RETURNED FROM CARVOEIRO AFTER A 2 WEEK STAY AT THE CARVOEIRO SOL HOTEL THE WEATHER WASA BEAUTFIL APART FROM 1 DAY THE HOTEL IS FIRST CLASSVERY FRIENDLY AND 1st class accommodation we also had the enterntainment in the square every night which was fab especially the young very pretty blode girl with an amazing voice we will retun and reccomend to our friends my sister wants us to go back next year as she has bot yet visited portugual so you never know we may be back sooner than we though. We do hope to sell up and move to the algarve in the silves area bit what i found was the estate agents were not that helpful they obviously think you are on holiday and justt looking so we have been advised by friends who live out there to go int the winter to look aroun d. Finally one of the best meals we had (and we returned ) was at mitchS u should try it love rosie and bill

Carvoeiro is all it is made out to be....have just returned from a week long visit.....and would love to retire there. The atmosphere in the village was brilliant,everyone friendly. Stayed at Val de rei, absolutely fantastic location, shame about the new apart-hotel being built, wonder if this will make a difference to the peacefulness of the area? Auto jardim were once again very good as regards car hire,could not fault them. Have already recommended Carvoeiro to several colleagues and friends, who are seriously thinking of visiting. Can anyone tell me where they got good flight deals, as I found flight only quite expensive this time,with no reductions to be had.Anyone know different.(p.s. cannot take a chance on very last minute,as villa normally booked well in advance,and kids to think of) Appreciate any real comments.

HAVE BEEN VISITING CARVOEIRO FOR NINETEEN YEARS, THERE IS NO BETTER PLACE! MY CHILDREN HAVE GROWN UP DURING THIS PERIOD AND ONE OF THEM IS IN CARVOEIRO ON THEIR HONEYMOON RIGHT NOW HAVING MARRIED ON THE 31ST AUGUST 2002. COULD YOU GET A BETTER RECOMMENDATION?
