Visited Carvoeiro last year whilst staying elswhere on the Algarve hoping to
come back in next few weeks to stay in Carvoeiro. Found the website very useful in fact I
mailed it out to my mailing list from my own website http://thehope.co.uk
so who knows I may even meet some of my own customers during my visit

Didn't care much for the pizzas from Frasers. Went to Bon Bon and the service
was terrible. Happys still gets our vote as one of the best - good food and excellent
service. See you next year.

Carvoeiro Sol is a very nice hotel but the walls are thin! Suggest you ask for a
room overlooking the POOL and not the beach/square. First went to the village in 1997 and
have been back 15+ times - enough said!

We are coming to Cavoeiro next week and would like to know all about the
Carvoeiro Sol. I understand it's in the main square - will this mean it'll be noisy? I've
seen the pictures and it looks quite nice - but what's it really like to stay there?

Well we arrived in this tiny little place after backpacking all over Europe. All
I can say is that it is a great place to have your clothes washed.

very important!!! this is to everybody who is going to go to carvoeiro: if you
have the possibility, please visit a bar called "Mirage". It's on the "Rua
do Farol" about 200 m away from the beach. when you are there ask for a person called
JIMMY (he works there) and tell him, that i love him and that i miss him. (from Anna)
he'll know, what you mean. and if he's not there tell it some of the other waiters. they
will surely know, too if you want or need more information about that, contact me:

We are going to Carvoeiro for first time in October. We're staying at Villa
Jodilsa - anyone have any comments about this villa? Oh, and can we have directions from

Excellent resource for Carvoeiro!? Great Website - well done. We visited
Carvoeiro end of July. Brilliant holiday. Be sure to visit the Palais du cone right on the
square - the ice cream is second to none! Even after visiting many restaurants we still
always went there for ice cream. Visit the large superstore just out of town for shopping
- it's much cheaper than in town. The many beaches were esxcellent to explore and horse
around, my nephews had great fun scrambling through the cave to the next beach (4 beaches
to the left of Carvoeiro as I recall).
