Isn`t it nice in Carvoeiro?!
I was there in march and all the flowers flowered!
My sister and I lived in one of the best Hotels - 'Hotel Cristal' .Nice Greets to the friendly Waiters. The dinner tasted very good.
At the lovely beach, we could relax and could enjoy our holidays.
I LOVE PORTUGAL !!!!!
I hope to be there again!

Had a fantastic meal at the Casa Velha do Pescador in Benagil, 500 yards up from Benagil beach. Food, wine and ambience was amazing. Be sure to book and ask for a table outside as it over looks the Atlantic - perfect for those balmy evenings! I travelled alone but was made truly welcome for the nights I dined there. Can't wait to go back.

Last day in Carvoeiro :-( I had a wonderful time at Quinta dos Oliveiras!!!!! Beautiful villa and lovely pool, great breakfast with GOOD times and very nice owners and staff :-)) Very good place to relax and chill!!! Apart from the wonderful place to stay, I had a difficult time as a Single-woman out there.... only couples in and around Carvoeiro!!! OK, I travelled a lot and saw the fantastic coast and beaches, but not a lot of groups or single persons around there (only in Lagos and Albufeira - but much to loud out there for me). Just back from Honeymoon in Carvoeiro. Had the best time ever. Food is great, shops are great(especially the pottery market where I nearly gave my husband heart failure.)Beach is lovely.And waht can I say about the ice cream shop....wow!
All round a great holiday. Would recommend the jeep safari....great day out but do not ware anything white.... ends up with a lot of dust on it.
Will definitely be back to Monte Carvoeiro next year, please God!!!! with our son. Can't wait. Wish I was there now in the beautiful sunshine as Ireland is wet..wet..wet. Oh well we always have the European Cup to look forward to.

We have just returned to England after a 10 day break in Carvoeiro.
We loved the place, and the people were just great,
very friendly and welcoming.
The food was excellent wherever we chose to eat.
Needless to say we'll be back.
It was refreshingly clear of the "yobbo" element.

Carvoeiro and load????Dude the musica is FUN....it spices Carvoeiro up a lill....and compared with P da R or Albufeira or whatever its nice and quiet..its lovely...jjst sit on the beach..take a drink wid u..and relaxxxxxx..........hm wish i was there..

How can u say Carvoeiro is loud, well you definatley haven´t been to Albufeira or Portimao. Carvoeiro is one of the quietest towns, family oriented and not to roudy. But hey in the summer (July and August) anywhere you go to a tourist town, you will hear SOME noise. Relax and Chill out the sun is shining and the beach is warm. :o)

Yes we are coming back next year but are stopping at Rocha Brava but don't worry we
will walk up and get an ice cream! By the way is Rocha Brava o.k. Finally are there are

Just returned from a weeks holiday in Carvoeiro - appeared quieter than other years
with a distinct lack of Germans (NO comment)!! A Gale' excellent as usual - Antonios much
better than last year - Julios' excellent for that special night out. Many thanks to Auto
Jardim car hire for their prompt assistance when we experienced a puncture - very highly
recommended. Goood atmosphere in the town due to the World Cup - hard luck Ireland you
were brilliant.
Carvoeiro takes some beating - just wish the sea was warmer by about 20c !!

Re Cepsa ice creams
Did you stay in the villa across the road from the Cepsa garage? Did your boys buy lots
of bubble gum with football stickers? Are you coming back next year, if so I'll make sure
I've got more ice creams!! say hi to the kids, we had a great laugh with them, especially
the one who asked us hundreds of times if there were snakes here!!!

We recently stayed at Casa Dos Ouricos and would like to say we had a fantastic time.
The villa was great - the pool area superb. Can't wait to return. Kids love the Piu bar
because of the dogs! and the Cepsa Garage because it sold icecreams! We love carvoeiro and
the location of the villa. Gents loved the golf and the ladies loved the villa's
tranquility (plus the cocktails at the Piu bar)!! The Ropers and The Nixons.

We think Carvoeiro is da place to be for ur hols!!! We go there every year sometimes

Congratulation about your website! It´s full of good information. Carvoeiro is very
nice. I´ve been there for 3 times and spent holiday at the Algarve for altogether 10
times. So Portimao and Alvor is also nice to visit. Frank, Hamburg (Germany) P.S Cross my
fingers for the Portugese Footballteam but Mexico will win the championship!!!

Ive just came back from staying in carvoeiro at the colina da lapa apparments.The
apparments/villas are of very high standard and the best accomadation Ive ever had.the
food is ok but I reccomend you hire a car and go down into the town itself to many of the
fine restaurants. The entertainment on the site for children and aldults was poor. I put
it down to the manager of the complex not the cosmos reps because they tried there best to
please.
