Had a great month in the Algarve in rainy April!! Carvoeiro was fantastic. Great dining spots in Benagil and don't miss the Village Inn owned by Canadian Kathy Lancaster towards Portimao in Estombar. You'll need a reservation. For a fun evening don't be shy to try Chicken Georges.

Try this number for Aldeia das Camines 282358334 or 28235836 or 282358335. They are close enough to the village to walk, but far enough away not to hear the noise, I have always liked the appartments, and after babysitting in several, I think they are really nice. Enjoy your visit

Let's hoppe PORTUGAL wins the EURO2000. They are playing a fantastic game. They gave a lesson to ENGLAND, how to play football. With Romania was a diferent type of game "a game of nerves & patient".

Comments: Just returned from one week in Monte Carvoeiro Clube and one week in Colina Branca, both great places to stay. Weather brilliant. Thanks to Roy and Sandra for rescuing us!!! Great restaurents to try are Casa de Algarvia, Oasis, Cantinha and many more. Great nights at the Jailhouse and Roundup bar. Everybody so friendly. This was our first time in Carvoeiro but won't be our last.

You might have noticed the .com extension to this site, if you are in search of Portuguese language sites it would be more appropiate to visit e.g. .pt or .br domains. I would like to have Portuguese, German and French translations, but only got two hands and no budget!

Hi have just returned last night stayed in the Colina Sol, there were 11 adults 1 child and 1 inafant in the party, we had a brillinat time, highly recommend the resort, really recommedn restauratn A Gale food excellent especailly Antonio, looking froeward to going again next year, its a real family resort. Hi, we (2+2) have been in Carvoeiro every year since 1995. We found it the most "original" and nicest location on the rocky part of the Algarve. We will come back in October, hoping to have warm temperatures again. I was really surprised to find this wonderful Carvoeiro Site (by looking to LiveCams I saw the link ...). Our family (2 adults + 2 children) plans to visit Carvoeiro in august/september for the 1st time. We will reside at the appartement house "Farol" directly in Carvoeiro. Can anybody give us some information about this buliding ? Is it very loud and noisy around at night ?

Have been to Carvoeiro each year for the past 5 years, olny recently found Carvoeiro.com. Coming again at the end of June - Cant wait! Looking forward to some good nights at the Jailhouse.
