Greetings from Luxembourg - Knud (danish guy touring the Carvoeiro nightlife begin of April): Had a smashing week in your lovely village. I stayed at Casa Brigitte Guest House (tel. 082 356318) where, at a reasonable price, you get the most fantastic sunset/sea-view and view over the beach from your own terrace. Spent some time in Sully's Bar on the main-square (next to Palacio do Cone) where the owner Flavio and his friends Jorge and "Travolta" (sorry, I forgot the name) does everything for the guests to feel at home. A special greeting to Sully's - and also greetings to Domingos (and his Angolean staff) at disco Bote. See you all, next time!
To the Webmaster: tak for carvoeiro home-page'n. Den var årsagen til at jeg overhovedet kom til carvoeiro. Jeg tog en fly-billet til Faro og havde så en udlejningsbil i en uge. Da jeg tidligere havde været i Albufeira, og fandt den for turistet, ville jeg finde et alternativ - og det blev så Carvieiro. Hyggelig by, godtnok mange tyskere, men også med portugisisk charme og gæstfrihed som jeg kender den fra nord-portugal. Næste gang du kommer forbi Sally's så skal du lige have flg. vits med (du må selv oversætte den): "Hvordan ved mænd hvornår kvinden har fået orgasme??? Det ved vi ikke, og vi er sgu' da også ligeglade!" (PS: vær forsigtig med den overfor frigjorte danske kvinder - de kan godt blive lidt mopsede).

Isabel is around. Her dad died while back but she and her son are fine. No Irsih bars that I know in Carvoeiro but a few sell Guinness and Caffreys incl Smilers. You need plenty of Punts for that here though. Try the local brew instead - after all we only do it to fall over don't we?

The time is the server time in Denmark, thus GMT + 1
