| whatever happened to Nigel Hoare who used to run Smilers. I recall that he had
two stunningly gorgeous daughters. He is probably completely senile by now. The last I
heard of him he was frequenting suspect bars in english seatowns. Does anyone know where

| It was indeed Tim Motion who opened Sobe e Desce which was about the first
disco in the Algarve (if not Portugal) and now called The Jailhouse. That wasn't him drunk
at Carvoeiro Club at Easter 1998 - that was me and ANOTHER Tim! Scandalous Slander! I have
an idea Tim Motion went off to Spain somewhere but he must be pushing on a bit now. |

| Returned home to rainy Scotland last Saturday after a week of cloudless skies
in Carvoeiro. Wish we'd known about this great site before we went. Anyone going soon for
first time make sure you eat at least once at O Chefe Antonio but everywhere was good.
Staff at Lanterna and Via Italia made us especially welcome. We loved the town and have
vowed to come back next year - first stop Ice Cream! Alistair & Lynne McGregor,

visit to Colina Village. Could any one help me in finding a reasonable green fee rate for
a trio of golfers. We'd like to play about 10 times during the latter part of March.
Penina would be nice but the Leadbetter course west of Carviero would do the trick. Keep

Bom dia todos nesta casa -
congrats to the webmaster; this website is great!! I had a look at these sites yesterday
evening for the first time and sure I think I must come back every day, to have a look
"through the web-cam" and enjoy an ice-cream "virtually". Are there
web-cams on other places in Portugal or Algarve?

state (him not me!!) at the club de tennis at Carvoeiro Clube in Easter 1998. I have
photographic evidence too!!! I think he lives in Silves. Ask Bruce at the clube de tennis

Carlos and his staff at the Cepsa garage. We have never had any problems with them, they
